SOLAIRE DIRECT sets up a solar modules manufacturing unit in Poitou-Charentes region
EUR 11 million will be invested by SOLAIRE DIRECT in the setting up of a manufacturing unit of solar modules in Chatellerault. This is the 1rst of its kind in France.
The building should start in 2010 and 80 jobs will be created. The production of the unit (that should start in 2011) is planned to reach 120 000 solar panels each year, that is to say 36 MW.
